John Boehner, you cant be serious can you?

I've signed up for email alerts from Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) and got one tonight.

The first paragraph says:

While the 2008 election turned out to be every bit as tough as Republicans thought it would be, some of our opponents think we're going to surrender. They think we're going to raise the white flag and suggest that our principles of freedom, responsibility, and smaller government no longer speak to the hopes and dreams of American families.

Are you serious? Principles of smaller government? Didn't you vote FOR the bailout bill? Why in the world would I believe that you are deserving of leadership when your actions don't follow the principles you have just outlined?

Pardon me if I don't buy it.
